23 trees and 102 shrubs were planted this morning in Guild Park by volunteers from as far way as Etobicoke, Downtown Toronto, North York, North Scarborough and Ajax – and of course Guildwood Village.

Today’s Tree Planting blitz was Provided by the City of Toronto’s Green Toronto Natural Environment & Community Programs in partnership with Friends of Guild Park in an effort to improve and revitalize Guild Park’s green space.
