The Guildwoodian blog, today, is run by Ulrik Westergaard.
Guildwood Village with its Mid-Century Living, Nature, Arts and Strong Community is truly unique. Surrounded by trees, history, mid-century homes, sculptures, parks, community engagement, and all of it right on the bluffs, Guildwood Village really is a retreat from the Mega City, a model neighbourhood and something we should work hard to preserve into the future.
The Guildwoodian was founded in 2014 by Jack Henry with a mission to be the most relevant source for local news in the Guildwood Community by connecting people to the stories and events that matter and are close to home and by being connected to our community not just physically but digitally to be the most relevant local news source across all generations.
Jack graduated from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design and is a Provisional Member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers. Since graduating Jack has freelanced with clients in the health care, non-profit, retail and entertainment industries. Jack specializes in Branding and Corporate Communications, Information Design and Wayfinding.
After 4 years of sharing news, stories and contests with our community on the Guildwoodian blog, twitter and facebook page, Jack decided in July 2018 to pass the torch to fellow Guildwoodian, Ulrik Westergaard.
